About the position

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager for a prominent global cosmetics company. This role is pivotal in the retail IT space, focusing on overseeing multiple projects related to omnichannel strategies, loyalty programs, and promotion simulations for two of the company's top-selling brands. The position is structured to allocate three out of five workdays to project management tasks, while the remaining two days will focus on business analyst responsibilities, such as writing test cases, documenting functional requirements, and other related activities. The projects are already underway, with established project plans, and the selected candidate will be responsible for running weekly meetings, preparing status reports, and facilitating communication between business and IT teams to ensure that effective processes are implemented. Daily management of deliverables is also a key aspect of this role. Specific projects include initiatives like cleaning up duplicate customer data in the company database, implementing real-time CRM solutions, and enhancing real-time loyalty programs. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in the retail industry, particularly with POS-based projects, is essential. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension. While the role allows for remote work, occasional travel to L'Oreal locations in the US will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects related to omnichannel strategies, loyalty programs, and promotion simulations.
  • Devote three days a week to project management tasks and two days to business analyst responsibilities.
  • Run weekly meetings and prepare status reports.
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT teams to ensure effective processes are in place.
  • Manage daily deliverables and project timelines.
  • Work on cleaning up duplicate customer data in the company database.
  • Implement real-time CRM solutions and enhance real-time loyalty programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Experience working on POS/CRM/Omnichannel based projects.
  • Experience creating project plans, managing milestones, and running daily standups.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Experience working in a waterfall environment.
  • Experience working on Application Development/SDLC based projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the Retail/Luxury/Cosmetics industry.
