DigiFlight is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Scrum Master skills to provide engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. This role requires forming good customer relationships and reaching out to external customers to understand their data needs and the architecture of customer data flow. The individual will work as a key contributor in a SAFe agile development environment, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with enterprise data flow and data modeling, along with efficient experience using Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira. A good understanding of data flow processes and system-to-system connections is essential. The candidate should also be knowledgeable about the data modeling system development life cycle and customer infrastructure, resources, and deployment processes. They will be responsible for providing adequate status updates to senior leadership and appropriately tasking team members based on priorities provided by leadership. The Scrum Master will align sprint priorities with roadmap projections and goals, capture meeting minutes, extract requirements, and disseminate information to the team and stakeholders. Monitoring and tracking action items and dependencies will also be part of their responsibilities, along with good organizational and documentation skills. In addition to the required skills, the candidate should possess good interpersonal and communication skills, be able to assess team load and capacity, and make projections based on team velocity. The role also involves recommending priorities based on team load, abilities, mission goals, requirements, and deadlines. The desired skills include SAFe or Scrum Master certification and prior proven experience as a Scrum Master, along with a willingness to teach, coach, and guide the team in agile best practices.
