About the position

As a Scrum Master at Wipro, you will play a pivotal role in guiding teams through the Agile process, ensuring that they adhere to Scrum principles and practices. You will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, while fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help the team to self-organize and deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations. You will work closely with Product Owners to ensure that the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized, enabling the team to focus on delivering value in each sprint. In this role, you will also be tasked with removing impediments that may hinder the team's progress, acting as a shield against external distractions. You will monitor team performance and provide insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. Your ability to coach and mentor team members will be crucial in enhancing their understanding of Agile methodologies and improving their performance. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of accountability and ownership within the team, encouraging members to take initiative and contribute to the team's success. Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Guide teams in adhering to Agile principles and practices.
• Remove impediments that hinder team progress.
• Work closely with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Monitor team performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies.
• Promote a culture of accountability and ownership within the team.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to share best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, etc.).
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Knowledge of software development processes and practices.
