About the position

As a Scrum Master at Booz Allen, you will play a crucial role in supporting a development team focused on modernizing and enhancing public health information technology solutions. Your expertise in Agile best practices will help navigate challenges and ensure project success. You will coach the team to achieve sprint goals and apply Scrum principles to resolve issues, ultimately impacting the public health environment positively.

Responsibilities

• Coach a development team to focus on sprint goals and ensure project progression.
• Apply Agile tools to strengthen sustainable process improvements.
• Facilitate daily stand-up calls, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements sessions.
• Resolve routine problems using basic Scrum principles and concepts.
• Work alongside clients to deliver impactful solutions in public health.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional working experience as a Scrum Master serving Agile teams.
• Experience with Agile software project management tools, including JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of project management frameworks and software development processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Agile or Scrum certification.
