About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a contract position with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This role is expected to last for 12 months or more. The Scrum Master will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments within a single business unit. This position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to facilitate both Agile Scrum and Waterfall service deliveries as a servant leader. The Scrum Master will lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team, ensuring that all aspects of the project are integrated effectively to deliver the intended solution. In this role, the Scrum Master will manage infrastructure projects, lead daily meetings, and oversee project timelines. They will be responsible for project execution, integration, and implementation, while also focusing on risk management and mitigation planning. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in readiness, change adoption, and stakeholder management, ensuring that all applicable change requirements are satisfied through quality assurance processes. Acting as the primary point of contact for the project, the Scrum Master will facilitate communication and integration across various work streams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments within a single business unit
  • Facilitate Agile Scrum Master and Waterfall service deliveries as a servant leader
  • Lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team
  • Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution
  • Manage for Infrastructure Projects
  • Lead daily meetings for Infrastructure Projects
  • Manage Project Timeline
  • Oversight/Manage/Lead project execution, integration and implementation
  • Risk Management and Mitigation Planning
  • Readiness/Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management
  • Quality Assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied
  • Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project

Requirements

  • Knowledge of programs and projects frameworks
  • Experience with large-scale complex projects
  • Understand components of hosting: OS, servers, storage, databases, load balancing, DMZ
  • Jira Confluence knowledge
  • Extensive data analysis and associated presentation
  • Infrastructure delivery projects (servers, storage, network, etc.)
