About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves consulting on complex initiatives that have a broad impact and require large-scale planning for Software Engineering. The successful candidate will review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that necessitate an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations that require a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel is also a key aspect of this role. Furthermore, the candidate will perform Scrum Master duties, which include facilitating the scrum process for moderately complex projects, non-projects, and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
• Perform Scrum Master duties including facilitating the scrum process for moderately complex projects, non-projects and maintenance work

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees
