About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within Scrum or Agile frameworks. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to present recommendations for resolving challenges that arise during project execution. In this role, the Scrum Master will review and analyze basic or tactical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. The candidate will exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Additionally, the Scrum Master will provide information to client personnel, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about Agile methodologies and is looking to make a significant impact within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Scrum or Agile.
  • Review and analyze basic or tactical Scrum Master assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide information to client personnel.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Scrum or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
