Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for a Scrum Master to provide expert agile servant leadership for teams working in a complex multi-contractor federal IT product and services portfolio. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in guiding the team through the Agile process, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the team is functioning at its highest potential. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the workload of the scrum team, reporting risks, and creating mitigation strategies for any at-risk work. The Scrum Master will also be responsible for leading communications with other Scrum Masters across different teams to share best practices and lessons learned, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Act as Scrum Master on scrum team while simultaneously teaching and reinforcing the Agile and SAFe best practices among the scrum team.
  • Participate in and lead communications with other Scrum Masters across other teams for the purpose of sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Actively advocate for the use and implementation of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Manage the workload assigned to their responsible scrum team.
  • Report risks when work is projected to be delayed.
  • Proactively create mitigation strategies for at risk work.
  • Provide a status of team's workload in Scrum of Scrum meetings.
  • Provide inputs to stakeholder briefings speaking to their team's work status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business management or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing agile delivery teams (or 9 years of experience with no degree)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • SAFe Agile Certification
  • Ability to pass Public Trust / MBI background investigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that meet college Baccalaureate degree standards for English grammar, spelling, and composition
  • Ability to prioritize and work on tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
