As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in planning, leading, monitoring, and coordinating activities related to technology and business projects and programs. You will manage projects or assigned project subcomponents to ensure that cost, schedule, scope, and deliverable requirements are met. This position requires effective communication of project progress to stakeholders and team members. In this role, you will utilize project management principles, theories, techniques, and tools to manage various aspects of projects, including time, cost, schedules, quality, procurement, communication, and risk. You will direct and coordinate the activities of assigned project personnel to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget. Leadership is a key component of this role, as you will guide project team members throughout the project lifecycle, determining the necessary methods and resources to achieve project goals while developing and maintaining a detailed project plan. Collaboration is essential, as you will coordinate activities and work closely with all stakeholders across departments. You will facilitate meetings to discuss issues and implementation strategies, encouraging alternative points of view and problem-solving. Your ability to formulate conclusions, recommendations, and develop options will be crucial, as you will present and justify findings to management and customers to gain approval. Additionally, you may manage projects and programs that span multiple departments or regions, oversee vendor relationships, and serve as a liaison between vendors and project teams. Identifying, managing, and mitigating issues and risks will also be part of your responsibilities, along with other duties as assigned.
