About the position

CACI is seeking a Scrum Master to join the F3I program, specifically for the Department of the Air Force Cloudworks (DAF Cloudworks) program. In this role, you will serve as the Scrum Master for 1-5 Scrum Teams, working closely with engineers, team leads, and other Scrum Masters to build enterprise solutions that meet mission needs. This position is critical as you will be a key member of the team, contributing to some of the Air Force's most important missions while utilizing the latest technologies in cloud computing and DevSecOps. As a Scrum Master, you will guide your teams on Agile/Scrum practices, ensuring adherence to the established Agile development process. You will coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, backlog refinement meetings, sprint planning and reviews/demos, PI planning, and retrospective events. Your leadership will be essential in managing your Scrum Teams to deliver successful product increments. You will assist Government Product Owners and fellow Scrum Masters in prioritizing work, facilitating cross-team collaboration, resolving conflicts, and removing impediments to ensure mission objectives are met. Effective communication is vital in this role, as you will actively engage with Scrum Teams, end users, Government Product Owners, and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for generating and presenting status reports, briefings, and demos, utilizing Agile tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, as well as Microsoft tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to manage and document the work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for 1-5 Scrum Teams that share common core functions and objectives within the DAF Cloudworks mission.
  • Guide Scrum Teams on Agile/Scrum practices and ensure adherence to the established Agile development process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies for Scrum Teams, including daily scrums, backlog refinement meetings, sprint planning and reviews/demos, PI planning, and retrospective events.
  • Lead and manage Scrum Teams to deliver successful product increments.
  • Assist Government Product Owners and fellow Scrum Masters in prioritizing work and facilitating cross-team collaboration and decision making.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments for Scrum Teams.
  • Communicate actively within and among Scrum Teams, as well as with end users, Government Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Generate and present status reports, briefings, presentations, and demos using Agile tools and Microsoft tools.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years' experience with the Agile framework and various Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  • Scrum Master certification (level 1 or higher) with experience leading Scrum teams.
  • Experience with public speaking and meeting facilitation in virtual environments and technical audiences.
  • Technical experience in software development and/or systems integration & support.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.
