About The Position
The Satellite Systems Crew Chief (SCCH) at Lockheed Martin's Next Gen Geo (NGG) OPIR Mission Operations Support (NMOS) Team is responsible for overseeing satellite operations, including the roles of Satellite Systems Operator (SSO) and Ground Control Operator (GCO). The SCCH ensures the effective functioning of satellite systems, conducts tests, launches, and early orbit testing of NGG Space Vehicles, and leads a team in operational training and mission support.
