About the position

Odyssey Systems is seeking a highly skilled SDA C2 Data Systems Acquisition Program Manager to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for the Space Command and Control Program. This role involves supporting the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command in managing the acquisition, modernization, and sustainment of command and control systems. The position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, with the flexibility of 1-2 days of telework per week. The successful candidate will work closely with government stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of the Distributed Space Command and Control System - Dahlgren (DSC2-D) program portfolio, which is critical for Space Domain Awareness (SDA).

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition program management support for the DSC2-D program portfolio.
• Conduct and oversee project planning, integration, and execution of product support elements.
• Review and develop enabling concepts and use case development for network and system integration initiatives.
• Perform programmatic oversight as directed by the Program Manager.
• Conduct analysis of project and program data and requirements.
• Develop design package documentation and review overarching system design documentation.
• Generate, maintain, and redline wiring diagrams.
• Develop and execute technology insertion and risk reduction strategies.
• Coordinate and lead resolution of programmatic, technical, network, and system infrastructure issues.
• Assist with translating user requirements into statement of work objectives and requirements documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience performing program/project management activities within an Air Force, Space Force, DoD, Intelligence, or Missile Defense Agency acquisition organization.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, agreeable to polygraph.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile Systems implementation and experience with Confluence and JIRA tools.
• Strong technical awareness of SDA data systems, networks, interfaces, architectures, and data flows.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• PMP, DAU, DAWIA, or equivalent Acquisition Program Management Level II or III certification.
• Experience developing solicitation documents (RFI, RFP, PWS, SOW) and evaluating proposals.
• Familiarity with DoD Acquisition Program Management processes.
