About the position

The SDA C2 Data Systems Acquisition Program Manager at Odyssey Systems Consulting Group plays a crucial role in supporting the Space Command and Control Program for the United States Space Force. This position involves providing advisory and assistance services, managing acquisition programs, and overseeing system engineering and integration for command and control systems. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects related to space domain awareness and command and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition program management support for the Distributed Space Command and Control System - Dahlgren (DSC2-D) program portfolio.
• Conduct and oversee project planning, integration, and execution of product support elements in the development and sustainment of command-and-control systems.
• Review and develop enabling concepts and use case development for network and system integration initiatives.
• Perform programmatic oversight as directed by the Program Manager, including cost, schedule, and technical performance reporting.
• Develop design package documentation and review overarching system design documentation.
• Generate and maintain wiring diagrams and ensure technical requirements are addressed in system modifications.
• Develop and execute product support strategies for technology demonstrations and system evaluations.
• Coordinate and lead resolution of programmatic and technical issues with contractors.
• Assist with translating user requirements into statement of work objectives and requirements documentation.
• Support stakeholder engagement on matters affecting program execution.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and agreeable to polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in program/project management within an Air Force, Space Force, DoD, or Intelligence acquisition organization.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile Systems implementation and experience with Confluence and JIRA tools.
• Strong technical awareness of SDA data systems, networks, interfaces, and cloud architectures.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 4 or more years of experience in program/project management activities within an Air Force, Space Force, or DoD acquisition organization.
• PMP, DAU, DAWIA, or equivalent Acquisition Program Management Level II or III certification.
• Experience developing solicitation documents and evaluating proposals.
• Understanding of government financial management processes.
