About the position

The SDET - Mobile Android Developer role involves ensuring the automation processes are consistently operational, analyzing and documenting failures, and collaborating with scrum teams to enhance automation solutions. The position focuses on delivering robust performance testing strategies while mentoring peers and junior SDETs to uphold automation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure automation is constantly running, analyzing, documenting and promptly reporting on failures
• Partner with scrum team members to build out automation solutions to advance SDLCs and meet critical business objectives
• Design data persistence using SQL, Mongo, or any database management system
• Drive a continuous improvement mentality to deliver robust performance testing strategies and methods
• Mentor peers and junior SDETs and create a culture of following automation best practices and standards by code reviews

Requirements

• Hands-on coding experience with Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ)
• Experience with XCUI and/or Espresso
• Proven ability to successfully balance and deliver multiple geographically-distributed QA projects with concurrent releases
• Solid understanding of Mobile Development on iOS and/or Android devices
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies

• Financial/Trading services industry experience is a plus
