About the position
The SDET/QA Automation Tester role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing. The position requires a strong background in testing and automation, particularly in AWS environments, and involves collaboration with development and delivery teams to enhance the testing process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java or Python/Groovy.
- Perform testing in AWS environments, specifically with AWS Glue, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for testing purposes.
- Collaborate with development and delivery teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize the Spock framework for testing automation.
- Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on testing and automation using Java and Groovy.
- Solid testing experience in AWS environments.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the Spock framework.
- Proficiency in testing AWS Glue, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
- Strong SQL query writing skills.
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
