About the position

The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role focuses on ensuring the quality of software solutions through automated testing. This position involves translating business and system requirements into effective test strategies, designing and maintaining automated tests, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance testing processes and standards. The SDET will utilize various tools and methodologies to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Translating business and systems requirements into test strategy, test scenarios, and test plans
• Designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining automated tests and tools
• Adhering to Quality Engineering Practices in the development of automation scripts
• Understanding and applying BDD design concepts to test software solutions
• Adhering to industry standard best practices in Quality Engineering
• Delivering accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities
• Measuring and reporting key QA metrics
• Collaborating with other technical resources to suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards
• Identifying opportunities to improve maintainability of the automation platform

Requirements

• Good understanding of BDD, CI-CD, and DevOps concepts
• Understanding and working experience of Non-functional testing is preferred
• Experience in a similar role or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
• Expertise in Python
• Function UI Validation
• Validation of SOAP/RESTful web services
• Jenkins (CI/CD Pipelines)
• Selenium + Behave
• PL/SQL
