About the position

The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) position focuses on developing automation scripts and frameworks for testing web applications and REST/GQL APIs. This role requires collaboration with developers and QA resources to establish a robust test automation process, particularly migrating existing Selenium WebDriver scripts to Cypress. The position is contract-based and does not offer a pathway to full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation framework and strategy using Cypress/Cucumber.
• Migrate from Selenium WebDriver scripts to Cypress.
• Establish Test Automation process and evaluate/planning the automation roadmap.
• Create test strategy, test plans, and test cases for projects managed through Agile development methodology.
• Develop automation scripts for Web Applications and Graph QL APIs.
• Create data-driven tests to check application performance with different sets of data.
• Oversee the design and development of automation testing frameworks for front end and back end API services across desktop web and mobile applications.
• Write MONGO queries to access data from the database collections to ensure data integrity.
• Develop automation framework for API testing with SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with GitHub/TFS and Azure Kubernetes.
