About the position

The SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test) position at Insight Global involves supporting the Order Management System (OMS) for a Fortune 250 Retailer in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on ensuring software quality through the development and execution of test plans, identifying bugs and issues prior to software release, and implementing industry best practices in automation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for the Order Management System (OMS).
• Identify software bugs, issues, and glitches before software release.
• Support the automation of testing processes and environments.
• Implement industry best practices in quality engineering.
• Collaborate with the Quality Engineering Team to innovate testing strategies.

Requirements

• Experience with OMS (Order Management System).
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, preferably Kibo.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Java, and BDD for automation testing.
• Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured.
• Strong skills in requirement analysis and test data management.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Experience with GCP or cloud services, particularly Spanner.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Store & Squish testing tools.
