About the position

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a dynamic SDLC DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab/GitHub, and a strong working knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role requires cloud experience in AWS or GCP, and proficiency in scripting with Python, Groovy, and Shell. The candidate will be responsible for building and managing CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve DevOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve DevOps processes.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS/GCP) for scalability and reliability.
• Optimize operational processes and contribute to their continuous improvement.
• Support in developing and maintaining JAVA REST services if needed.
• Contribute to Java-based microservices.
• Ensure functional, efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain well-maintained cloud infrastructure.
• Improve DevOps practices within the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with DevOps.
• Proficiency in SRE practices.
• Proven ability to design solutions and improve operational processes.
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong ownership and responsibility for tasks.
• Passion for automation and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab/GitHub.
• Strong working knowledge of Terraform for IaC.
• Cloud experience in AWS or GCP.
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Groovy, and Shell.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Maven, and Artifactory.
