About the position

The SDLC, PMLC Product Management Analyst role focuses on supporting a health insurance customer by ensuring compliance with established processes and standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Product Management Life Cycle (PMLC). This position involves conducting audits, assessments, and providing recommendations for quality assurance and process improvements. The analyst will work closely with various teams to monitor and track quality issues, develop departmental materials, and ensure uniform auditing practices across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create audit checklists and methodologies for Agile (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum) and waterfall processes.
  • Conduct assessments of products/programs/projects to ensure compliance with published standards and processes.
  • Identify process and procedural issues based on audit findings and initiate resolutions.
  • Communicate with internal audit peers and management regarding audit status and issues.
  • Conduct training and presentations on process governance and improvement topics.
  • Collect objective evidence of quality-related data and trends.
  • Monitor and track quality action items and issues through resolution.
  • Develop departmental materials including SOPs for governance and auditing processes.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current processes and procedures.
  • Prepare QA reports and assist in senior-level presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on process improvements and quality controls.
  • In place of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Spiral, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Functional knowledge of SAFe and Product management.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering training and presentations.
  • Experience with Program/Project Quality Assurance/Process Improvement Plans.
  • Experience with Quality Gates or Quality Checkpoints as part of the SDLC.
