About the position

The Sales Development Representative Manager at Anaplan is responsible for leading and optimizing the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) team. This role focuses on developing competitive strategies to enhance lead generation, coaching team members on best practices, and ensuring alignment with field leaders to drive pipeline creation. The manager will also be involved in recruiting and onboarding new team members, monitoring performance metrics, and motivating the team to achieve ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategic objective and performance achievement for the SDRs
  • Monitor lead processes, metrics, and accelerate pipeline creation
  • Coach SDRs on pipeline generating best practices
  • Report operational and financial KPIs to leadership
  • Motivate, incentivize, and recognize team members to encourage top performance
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new SDR team members to support global expansion
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with each SDR
  • Align with industry lead AVP
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 2+ years as SDR/BDR or inside sales experience, preferably in enterprise software selling SaaS/Cloud applications
  • 1+ years of management experience (SDR or Sales)
  • Strong preference for outbound experience, not just handling inbound leads
  • Solid track record of successfully leading a high performing team
  • Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes
  • Enthusiastic & high energy motivator
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong social skills and emotional intelligence
  • Analytical & comfortable generating reports and identifying trends in data

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with technology such as SFDC, DemandBase, Drift, Outreach, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator
  • Adept at introducing, training, and implementing activity metrics
