About the position

The SDR Manager at Totango will lead the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, focusing on driving growth through effective prospecting and lead generation strategies. This role is pivotal in achieving revenue goals and ensuring the team's success in generating qualified opportunities. The manager will also be responsible for team development, performance management, and maintaining a positive work environment, all while working closely with notable clients in the tech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SDR team to achieve targets for qualified opportunities that convert into closed deals.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound efforts to generate qualified opportunities and set up new meetings.
  • Create an environment that fosters team success and drives performance to exceed targets.
  • Support the career growth of SDRs by identifying paths for advancement and providing development opportunities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales talent while promoting high-potential team members.
  • Manage employee relations, address performance issues, and maintain team motivation.
  • Keep the team updated with the latest industry best practices and effective strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the tech sales industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing SDRs directly or indirectly.
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as an Individual Contributor to Management within the SDR lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Chorus/Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chilipiper.
