About the position

Moody's is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Sales Development Representatives (SDR) team. This role focuses on creating and implementing strategies for prioritizing, planning, and executing sales campaigns while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages innovative thinking and collaboration. The manager will be responsible for coaching and developing the SDR team, tracking campaign success, and generating leads for corporate clients and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing the SDR team.
  • Designing and implementing KPIs for the SDR team.
  • Developing training programs to ensure continuous learning and development for SDRs.
  • Tracking campaign success and measuring performance.
  • Reporting campaign progress and strategy to Regional Sales Management.
  • Generating leads and sales opportunities through successful campaigns.
  • Managing sales and relationship management by geography, major account, or product set.
  • Directing the sales of products and services for corporate clients and financial institutions.
  • Managing a team of sales professionals and reviewing account coverage.
  • Setting direction and policies for sales activities and executing these plans.
  • Identifying business opportunities for new product development through market and client exposure.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product strategy teams to drive sales initiatives.
  • Assisting Finance in developing strategic corporate plans by forecasting multi-year revenue and expenditures.
  • Driving continuous service improvement with the goal of revenue production and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related area required.
  • Experience in managing (directly or indirectly) other sales professionals.
  • Experience in a sales role within a software/services organization with a successful track record in sales.
  • Solid understanding of processes for SDR, Sales, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding client relationship management experience.
  • Networking skills to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
