About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) plays a crucial role in executing the demand generation and growth marketing strategy within the marketing team. This hands-on position focuses on leveraging digital channels to drive qualified leads, enhance customer communication, and optimize digital tools to foster growth. The DMS will work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager and collaborate with various team members to ensure a cohesive marketing approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop web content and execute all web updates to ensure consistency of voice, brand standards, and digital strategy.
  • Own execution of email campaigns to acquire new customers and move existing customers through the customer journey.
  • Leverage Marketing Automation to deliver on the digital strategy and execute CRM marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize the company's web presence for SEO and implement paid search campaigns with a focus on ROI.
  • Manage daily operations and interactions with a suite of MarTech solutions to generate demand and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to enhance the impact of brand, offline, social, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in digital marketing for technical products.
  • Experience with MarTech tools (like Marketo, Salesforce, reporting and analytics, GA4, PPC, CMS, Wordpress).
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time, including domestic and international travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Completed, in-progress or willingness to start Marketo Certification a plus.
  • A passion for the ocean and climate science.
