About the position
Ocean Beauty Seafoods in Dallas is looking for a Cutter to join our team! We think Ocean Beauty is a pretty incredible place to work and we know you will love it too! We focus on getting quality and sustainable seafood to our local grocery stores, restaurants, and fine hotels! We take pride in cutting and filleting our fresh fish and delivering to our customers the same day. We value our customers! We need your help in preparing their orders.
Responsibilities
- Cut fresh seafood to ensure maximum use of product.
- Maintain and properly care for fillet and other cutting knives to ensure tools work efficiently.
- Record weights for all items processed before cutting and keep the work area clean and sanitized.
Requirements
- Good knife skills to ensure high yield of product.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Able to work in a controlled environment that is cold and damp.
Nice-to-haves
- Seafood experience is a plus, but not required.
