About the position
As a Seafood Team Member at Wegmans, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring the availability of fresh seafood products. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, educating customers about seafood options, and maintaining product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide incredible service to our customers
- Keep our shelves stocked with fresh products
- Take orders, package product, and help customers locate what they need
- May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory
Requirements
- Passion for food and customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a retail or food service environment
- Knowledge of seafood products
