About the position

The Part-Time After School Yoga Instructor at Rising Stars is responsible for teaching yoga classes to elementary-aged children in after school programs. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with kids and want to inspire them through movement and fitness. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing instructors to work a few hours each week while making a positive impact on children's physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Teach after school yoga classes to elementary-aged children.
• Set up the class environment before each session.
• Engage children in fun and interactive yoga activities.
• Manage a group of 8-16 kids during classes.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.

Requirements

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Enjoy working with children and have a positive demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Own reliable transportation to travel to different schools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with youth or in a coaching role (preferred but not required).
• Outgoing and fun personality.
