About the position

The Sealing Business Finance Leader at Alkegen is responsible for leading and developing a global finance team, which includes Business Unit FP&A Leaders, Plant Controllers, and other finance professionals across various sites. This role focuses on accurate reporting, enhancing forecasting and budgeting processes, and leading strategic planning from a financial perspective. The position requires a strong business partner to the BU GM, capable of analyzing financial results and developing strategies to drive EBITDA while mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will be a high-potential individual who can build high-performing teams globally and embody Alkegen's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global finance team consisting of Business Unit FP&A Leaders and Plant Controllers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of Business Unit results.
  • Drive enhanced forecasting and budgeting processes and capabilities.
  • Lead the strategic planning process from a finance standpoint within the Business Unit.
  • Partner with the Business Unit GM on M&A opportunities and participate in due diligence for acquisitions.
  • Execute the business plan and strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Management or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience in a global, multi-site leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of total experience in a finance/accounting capacity, with P&L leadership.
  • Track record of building and leading global teams.
  • Experience prioritizing capital investments and establishing annual business/strategic plans.
  • Strategic leader willing to roll up sleeves when necessary.
  • Business acumen to evaluate and drive business and financial metrics.
  • Experience evaluating and integrating M&A targets preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong analytical skills in Budget and P&L management, ROI, EBITDA, and capital management.
  • Ability to develop relationships and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in change management and process management.
