About the position
The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Senior Analyst at Whirlpool Corporation will lead technical SEO initiatives to enhance the online presence and performance of major appliance brands such as Whirlpool, Maytag, and KitchenAid. This role focuses on developing and executing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve website engagement, and ultimately support sales growth. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to create effective search experiences that prioritize consumer needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the team's Technical SEO lead, responsible for conducting technical SEO audits and identifying top priority opportunities.
- Work closely with development/product teams to build actionable tickets via agile sprint planning for successful technical SEO activations.
- Build and analyze search reports using SEO tools and on-site reporting platforms including BrightEdge, Adobe, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Screaming Frog.
- Gather, classify, organize, and manage large keyword research projects, analyzing high volumes of data using Google Sheets and/or automated tools.
- Perform search market analyses for key product launches, including competitor search analysis and on-page content optimization briefs.
- Drive cross-department collaboration with various teams, including external agency partners and digital brand teams.
- Prepare for search algorithm changes and monitor evolving SERP developments across platforms.
- Contribute to building a best-in-class search engine marketing program by analyzing organic and paid search data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience analyzing SEO data and supporting SEO strategy
- Experience driving SEO ecommerce technical SEO strategy
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of experience working at a digital marketing agency in a search role
