About the position

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist at Crown Equipment Corporation is responsible for enhancing the company's online visibility and performance through effective SEO strategies. This role involves conducting keyword research, analyzing user behavior, and collaborating with marketing and IT teams to implement optimizations that align with business goals. The specialist will also track performance metrics and stay updated on SEO trends to continuously improve strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct SEO keyword research, competitive analysis, and monitor organic search platforms.
  • Analyze user behavior, keyword rankings, and search engine results to guide optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and IT teams to recommend and implement content and technical search optimizations.
  • Align SEO strategies with business goals and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and perform regular site audits for technical SEO and content relevance.
  • Define and track SEO KPIs, benchmarks, and performance metrics, providing standardized reports to leadership.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, best practices, and search algorithm changes to adapt strategies.
  • Conduct testing to validate and refine SEO strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share insights, streamline SEO content development, and continually improve SEO tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Communications is required along with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Non-degree candidates considered if they have 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in developing and implementing optimization strategies to enhance online search visibility and performance.
  • Experience analyzing user behavior, keyword trends, and search engine algorithms to inform SEO strategies.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and HTML markup for optimizing technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs and enterprise search platforms.
  • Proven track record of successfully increasing organic website traffic and lead generation through SEO initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO and relevant certifications in SEO or digital marketing.
