About the position

The Search Recruiter at VISTA Staffing Solutions plays a crucial role in generating candidates for specific positions while honing assessment skills to match candidates with client criteria and offerings. This position involves sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates based on fundamental criteria for priority searches, as well as additional retained and contingency searches. The recruiter is responsible for consistently sourcing candidates for specific positions and generating quality leads for consultants. An initial in-depth needs assessment is conducted to understand the provider's needs and wants, and the recruiter effectively utilizes all appropriate sourcing resources available. They must determine whether to maintain contact with a provider or refer them to a consultant for follow-up. Documenting candidates' interests in other divisions of VISTA is also essential, as is demonstrating an understanding of quality standards in the recruitment process. The quality of candidates sourced and screened is measured by their progression through the recruitment process, including turnovers, consultant presentations to clients, interviews completed, and placements made. The Search Recruiter must demonstrate proficiency in urgency, communication, and strategic planning, following up on leads within 24 hours. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with special projects and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, and at least two years of experience in customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn proprietary software are necessary, along with a willingness to cover interim staffing gaps and expand knowledge of the locum tenens business. Strong organizational skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma preferred.
  • Associates degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Ability and willingness to cover interim staffing gaps.
  • Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer and typing skills for data entry.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and excellent research skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
