The Seasonal Application Reader at Brown University plays a crucial role in the Enrollment Management Team by assisting in the review of applications for admissions to various master's programs. This part-time, remote position requires readers to conduct initial reviews of applications, ensuring that candidates meet eligibility criteria while maintaining confidentiality throughout the process. The role is designed for individuals who can commit to 20-25 hours per week and effectively communicate with the Associate Director of Graduate Degree Enrollment regarding application reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial pre-review of applications for assigned programs.
• Determine eligibility of applications for further review by the program.
• Complete 20-25 hours of application review weekly.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality during the review process.
• Regularly communicate with the Associate Director of Graduate Degree Enrollment regarding review process, application volume, and timeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least one year of experience with application review.
• Candidates must have their own computer and a stable internet connection.
• Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of non-US educational systems and curriculums.
• Experience reviewing international credentials is recommended.
• Prior experience in application review at the graduate level.
