About the position

As a Seasonal Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience in a retail environment. Your role will involve maintaining store operations, engaging with customers, and promoting a positive store culture. You will work as part of a team to achieve sales goals while ensuring that the store is clean, organized, and welcoming to all customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the store team to ensure understanding and collaboration.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures and seeking feedback for improvement.
• Embrace diversity and inclusivity within the team and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist with training and development of teammates when needed.
• Provide shoe recommendations to customers and ensure they leave with the perfect fit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion when partnering with management.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
