About the position
As a Seasonal Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by maintaining a welcoming environment and engaging with them effectively. Your role will involve various retail operations, customer engagement, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the company's values and goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences.
- Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with the store team to ensure understanding and collaboration.
- Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for personal development.
- Uphold a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting teammates and fostering diversity.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensuring they leave satisfied.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
- Demonstrated positive communication skills with store associates at all levels.
- Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers.
- Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexible schedule availability, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
