About the position

The Seasonal Associate plays a crucial role in achieving store sales and operational goals while fostering an authentic customer experience both in the front and back of the house. This position is designed to positively impact the business and store environment, aligning with the store's objectives and Alo's guiding principles. The Seasonal Associate is expected to drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing Alo's Flow initiatives, which are aimed at optimizing productivity and efficiency within the store. A key responsibility of the Seasonal Associate is to provide a friendly greeting and proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes processing customer transactions and returns in accordance with company policies and procedures. The associate must also stay informed about store goals, company communications, initiatives, and new product launches, educating customers on guest-facing initiatives while on the sales floor. In addition to customer engagement, the Seasonal Associate will leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support the achievement of store goals. Quick and effective resolution of client needs is essential, as is assisting with the timely processing of shipments and replenishment on the sales floor. The role requires adherence to all front and back of house procedures as outlined by company policies. The position demands constant movement throughout the store, including both the sales floor and back of house, and when not actively assisting guests, the associate is expected to take the initiative to perform other tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing Alo's Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide a friendly greeting and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support customer engagement.
  • Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Stay informed about store goals, company communications, initiatives, and new product launches; educate customers on guest-facing initiatives on the floor.
  • Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
  • Resolve client needs quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in processing shipment in a timely manner.
  • Support replenishment on the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.

Requirements

  • Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
