About the position

The Seasonal Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by engaging with guests, understanding their individual needs, and providing personalized service. This role involves conducting cashier tasks, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting the leadership team in achieving sales goals and enhancing guest loyalty. Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to determine their individual needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct cashier tasks and handle customer service inquiries, including sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance the guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed about new and existing products to better serve guests and drive sales performance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that merchandise is stocked and presented well.
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment and support business growth.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and selling competency.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently as well as part of a team.
