About the position

As a Seasonal Team Member at Total Wine & More, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer service experience during the busy holiday season. This position involves providing fast and friendly service, building relationships with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining merchandise and inventory standards. You will have the opportunity to work in various roles, including cashier, sales specialist, and stock associate, while reporting to the store management team. This is a temporary position expected to last no longer than six months, with the possibility of applying for a regular role afterward.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting and establishing relationships with customers while informing them of products and services.
• Perform cashier functions and follow minor policy while completing customer transactions.
• Share Total Wine & More's product portfolio with customers.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory levels; communicate any inventory issues/concerns to leadership.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, kitchen, bathroom, etc.
• Collect carts from the parking lot and assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, which may depend on preference for part-time or full-time hours.
• Experience using technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
