About the position

The Seasonal Customer Service Greeter at Miami International Airport is responsible for providing exceptional service during the rental car process. This role involves assisting customers with vehicle returns, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience, and maintaining high-quality service standards. The position is seasonal, running from December 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, and requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Work proactively with drivers, service agents, and managers to ensure proper vehicle supply.
  • Welcome customers to the facility upon arrival.
  • Direct customers to the exit booth and provide local directions and maps.
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns to minimize counter visits.
  • Communicate customer service issues to management.
  • Ensure hangtag information is completed correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Emerald Aisle and low mileage fleet mix requirements.
  • Thank customers for their business and provide upgraded vehicles upon request.
  • Perform additional customer service duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of prior customer service, retail, or administrative support experience.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
  • Willingness to accept $18.00/hour.
