About the position

The Virginia Diner® corporate office is looking for seasonal data entry and phone operators to assist with entering holiday orders in a fast-paced office environment. This role requires individuals who possess active listening skills, patience, and a positive attitude. The primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately entering orders and addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise during the holiday season. The ideal candidate will work closely with a team of customer service representatives (CSRs) and collaborate with other departments to provide effective solutions to customer problems. In this position, you will be expected to have a solid understanding of the company’s products and services to assist customers effectively. Basic computer and keyboarding skills are essential, as you will be entering data and managing customer information. The ability to work quickly under pressure is crucial, especially during peak holiday times when order volumes may increase significantly. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task will be necessary to ensure that all customer interactions are handled efficiently and accurately. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required, as you will be interacting with customers over the phone and possibly through written correspondence. A confident and polite telephone voice is essential for providing excellent customer service. Additionally, reliable transportation is a must for commuting to the office location.
