Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
  • Accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain quality assurance and high standards of customer service.
  • Manage personnel, inventory, and financial profitability of the pharmacy.
  • Implement patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments.
  • Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions.
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Actively contribute to a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
