About the position
The Seasonal Events Associate at Bass Pro Shops is responsible for supporting store events and participating in short-term assignments throughout the year. This role emphasizes providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. The associate will assist in executing seasonal events, facilitate outdoor skills workshops, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
- Provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting them in making buying decisions and promoting programs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, children, and customers.
- Assist with the execution of seasonal events and facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
- Participate in store events as scheduled and keep the work area clean, neat, and safe at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
- Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other associates.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment.
