About the position

The Western Sugar Cooperative is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team for the Campaign Season at our Fort Morgan facility. This is a seasonal, full-time position offering a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with the potential for overtime. We are committed to training the right candidates, so no prior experience is necessary. The role requires a willingness to work rotating 8-hour shifts while being on your feet for the duration of the shift. Candidates must also be able to pass pre-screen and random drug testing as part of our commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace. As a member of our team, you will be expected to demonstrate solid safety behaviors and take on the role of a safety leader. Regular attendance is crucial, and you will be trained as a Process Helper, which involves learning multiple positions within the factory. Effective communication with the Shift Supervisor and fellow team members is essential, as is the ability to multitask and stay organized. You will also need to possess good verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to read and understand technical manuals related to sugar factory processes. This position offers opportunities for advancement to different roles with increased pay, and there is potential for year-round employment following the campaign season. We are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to maintain a clean and safe production area and who are eager to learn about the sugar manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
