About the position
Lakeside Foods is seeking Seasonal General Laborers to support various operational roles from June 1 through November 20th. The position involves working in plant, field, and warehouse environments, performing tasks such as operating machinery, ensuring safety and sanitation, and assisting lead personnel in directing other seasonal employees. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies while contributing to the production of wholesome foods.
Responsibilities
- Operate plant machinery and monitor machine progress.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment.
- Assist lead persons in directing other seasonal employees.
- Ensure field equipment is in proper working condition.
- Transport supplies and materials using forklifts in the warehouse.
- Follow all company regulations and policies regarding safety and operations.
Requirements
- Basic functional operation of plant machinery and forklifts.
- Ability to follow directions from supervisors and management.
- Basic comprehension of operational data functions and documentation.
- Ability to work at a proficient pace and maintain job assignments throughout the shift.
