About the position

The Seasonal Gift Wrap and Customer Service Associate at Bloomingdale's is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and creating a fun shopping experience. This position involves managing an in-store service hub, assisting customers with their Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, processing returns, and facilitating various in-store services. The associate is expected to engage with customers warmly and efficiently, embodying the company's mission to be a unique retail destination.

Responsibilities

  • Create an easy, seamless, and fun experience for customers by greeting and engaging them.
  • Manage an in-store service hub to assist customers with their Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders.
  • Process easy returns and provide tourism information.
  • Facilitate the booking of appointments for various in-store services.
  • Participate in merchandising and operational requirements of the role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers and peers.
  • Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
