About the position
Under general direction, perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, construction and care of the golf course and golf course facilities. Work varies, requiring interpretative judgment within prescribed standards and procedures. Must be at least 18 years old. Assist with all aspects of the maintenance of golf course, club house grounds and surrounding areas. Qualified candidates should be able to work well in a team environment, have an eye for detail and display a positive attitude. No experience is required but individuals should be accustomed to working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, officials and the public.
- Regular timely/punctual attendance.
- Assigned projects are performed properly and efficiently.
- Maintain and safely operate equipment.
- Apply and maintain knowledge of the current methods, equipment, materials and tools to effectively maintain and care for shrubs, trees, plants, grass and bunkers.
- Apply and maintain knowledge of the current methods, equipment, materials and tools used to perform maintenance and construction tasks.
