About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal HR Recruiter to join our team at District Photo Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various seasonal positions within the company. This role is crucial during the busy holiday season, where the recruiter will work closely with the HR team to ensure that all staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Seasonal HR Recruiter will utilize various recruiting methods, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals, to attract a diverse pool of candidates. In this position, the recruiter will screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates, conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position, and coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Additionally, the recruiter will conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates, extend job offers to successful candidates, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system is also a key responsibility. The recruiter will assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or HR.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
