As a Seasonal HR Specialist at Target, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources function within our Global Supply Chain and Logistics business. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our team members are well-supported in their roles. You will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the HR team, which includes maintaining accurate employee records, managing employment orientation, and overseeing compensation and benefits administration. Your role will also involve supporting cyclical HR processes, managing workers' compensation claims, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations. In this position, you will interact with team members at various levels within the organization, as well as with external candidates. You will assist in staffing needs for the distribution center, ensuring that employee orientation is conducted smoothly and that all HR processes are executed in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will also include answering employee questions, escalating concerns to leadership when necessary, and ensuring that training programs are implemented effectively. You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, sharing ideas and adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior HR Specialist, you will be a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance and support to help team members succeed.
