As a Staff Pharmacist, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, ensuring that all aspects of pharmacy operations are managed effectively. This includes overseeing patient safety, adhering to pharmacy professional practices, meeting regulatory requirements, and maintaining quality assurance standards. Your responsibilities will extend to customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. A key component of your role will be to keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. You will lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. Your leadership will motivate and inspire your Pharmacy Support Staff, balancing assignments to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities. In this dynamic community healthcare setting, you will identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions that drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy. Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure quality assurance and customer service standards are met.
  • Oversee personnel management and inventory management.
  • Maintain financial profitability and implement loss prevention strategies.
  • Manage workflow effectively to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
  • Lead patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
  • Display empathy and compassion in interactions with patients and colleagues.
  • Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and performance.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
