The Seasonal Income Tax Preparer position at R&R and Associates LLC is designed for skilled tax professionals looking to contribute to the 2023 Tax Season. This role involves preparing various tax returns, maintaining electronic work papers, and assisting with client communications. Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state and local income tax returns
• Maintain electronic work papers and tax returns and distribute to internal clients
• File electronic transaction tax returns, providing regular status updates
• Assist with electronic file maintenance using internal document retention database
• Assist with logistics and preparation of mandatory technical trainings
• Maintain internal databases related to filing calendars or other client provided data
• Order necessary supplies for tax return assembly process
• Collate and assemble tax returns
• Work with Manager to coordinate work flow.

Requirements

• Two years of administrative/office support experience, preferably within a Tax environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Intuit software
• Able to multi-task, work independently and in a team environment
• Accurate data-entry skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
• Strong focus on customer service
• Flexible to work overtime during peak season and weekends
