About the position

Carter's Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to join their distribution center, focusing on inventory management and compliance with safety standards. This role involves operating lift trucks, managing inventory processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Research previous locations and locate hot stock for waving purposes.
  • Lock inventory to lost and communicate with the Inventory Department.
  • Observe housekeeping, safety, and C-TPAT compliance in assigned areas.
  • Work with Wave Planning, Inventory Control, and Training to ensure adherence to area processes.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, including pulling during low volume periods.
  • Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all operational areas of the Distribution Center.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate lift trucks (Order picker/Reach truck).
  • Ability to operate within WMOS using all task functions including ROL's.
  • Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with others (Supervisors and co-workers).
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter's policies and procedures and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
  • Six months in an automated distribution center environment preferred.
